NEON UNION DROPS NEXT SINGLE OFF OF UPCOMING EP, DOUBLE WIDE CASTLE SESSIONS; “THIS THING” AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE TODAY

April 28, 2023 – Nashville, TN – Rising country duo and Red Street Records recording artists Neon Union drops their brand new track, “This Thing,” available everywhere today (listen HERE). “This Thing” marks the second release leading into the duo’s upcoming EP, Double Wide Castle Sessions, and is available alongside accompanying lyric video (watch HERE). Produced by GRAMMY-nominated, ACM and CMA-winner Dann Huff, “This Thing” delivers listeners the perfect summer love song pairing an upbeat melody with twangy riffs that’s sure to stay on repeat.

Written by Craig Wiseman, Joey Hyde and Neil Medley, “This Thing” is “the new wedding party anthem” according to Neon Union’s Leo Brooks. The chorus sings, “This thing has kinda got a ring / Like the pretty one down at the diamond shop / This thing is kinda pink champagne / And a cake with me and the bride on top / It’s a little white church in June / With a couple of tickets to a Cozumel honey moon.” This latest release is yet another highlight within a massive start to the year for Neon Union that’s included March’s Billboard Rookie of the Month (read HERE), multiple performances at 2023’s Live in the Vineyard Goes Country, an upcoming CMA Fest performance as well as tour invites around the country supporting major acts like Scotty McCreery and Jimmie Allen. “’This Thing’ marks another exciting release from Neon Union. These boys are on a roll, and I can’t wait for fans to fall in love with this song like we have. It’s only just the beginning!” says Red Street’s CEO Jay DeMarcus.
