COUNTRY RISER AND TENNESSEE-NATIVE RYAN LARKINS DELIVERS SURPRISE TRACK BENEFITTING HURRICANE RELIEF

ALL PROCEEDS OF LARKINS' ACOUSTIC TAKE ON "BLESSED ASSURANCE" DONATED TO MOUNTAIN WAYS NON-PROFIT

October 16, 2024 – Nashville, TN – CMA-nominated Ryan Larkins surprised fans today with a brand-new release backed by a heartfelt mission. Stemming from his Gospel roots and Tennessee upbringing, Larkins delivered an acoustic take on the classic hymn "Blessed Assurance," (LISTEN HERE) and is donating all proceeds to Mountain Ways, a non-profit organization committed to helping East Tennesseans and Western Carolinians recover from the devastation of Hurricane Helene (learn more).

As a born-and-raised Tennessean, the catastrophic desolation that has swept his home state in the last month could not be ignored by the emerging Country artist. Having grown up singing in the church and intimately familiar with the centuries-old hymn, Larkins knew that this provoking psalm, delivering a message of faith and hope, and the donation of ensuing proceeds was placed on his heart for a divine reason. Produced by the artist himself alongside Adam Engelhardt, today's release is also accompanied by an acoustic performance video, which can be viewed below.

Larkins shares, "The devastation that has torn through my home state is absolutely heartbreaking. My prayers are for the families facing unthinkable loss and suffering from the tragic consequent desolation. My hope is that this psalm brings peace to those in need, encouraging them to trust in the Lord and His protection and deliverance. Alongside Mountain Ways, my goal with this song is to help provide resources and aid to the victims of Hurricane Helene."
