RED STREET RECORDS MAKES AN EARLY SPLASH FOR 2024 ACM AWARDS WITH TWO ACTS NOMINATED; THE FIRST FOR THE LABEL

NEON UNION AND RYAN LARKINS TAPPED FOR NEW DUO OR GROUP OF THE YEAR AND SONG OF THE YEAR, RESPECTIVELY

April 9, 2024 – Nashville, TN – Today’s announcement of the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards proved promising for Jay DeMarcus’ Red Street Records after landing nominations for two acts, the label’s first accolades in the Country space. Neon Union, known for their charted debut single, “Bout Damn Time,” is up for New Duo or Group of the Year, while Red Street Records and Sony Music Publishing’s Ryan Larkins is nominated for Song of The Year for Cody Johnson’s hit single “The Painter.” Not only the first for the label, but Andrew Millsaps and Leo Brooks of Neon Union and label mate Ryan Larkins will be attending the ACM Awards as nominees for the very first time. DeMarcus shares, “What an incredible day for Red Street! The hard work from both our artists and our team is paying off, and I couldn’t be more proud. In just two short years we’ve achieved so much, and I can’t wait to celebrate at this year’s ACM Awards!”

Neon Union has seen a massive year leading into their first nomination with the release of their debut EP Double Wide Castle Sessions (listen HERE), a charted debut single, “Bout Damn Time,” LIVE network television appearances and hundreds of dates out on the road opening for major acts like Pitbull, Riley Green, HARDY, Scotty McCreery and more.

Ryan Larkins, Red Street Records recording artist and Sony Music Publishing’s hit songwriter will be attending this year’s awards as a first-time nominee for Song of The Year. Alongside Kat Higgins and Benjy Davis, Larkins penned Cody Johnson’s most recent hit single “The Painter,” which not only garnered a major nomination but also marked Ryan’s first #1 at Country radio. The Country newcomer also released his debut EP Meet Ryan Larkins earlier this year, which included his climbing debut single, “King of Country Music” (listen HERE).
